What makes your clothing and accessories bleach-proof?
Our products are made using specially treated fabrics that resist bleach stains and chemical damage. The bleach resistance is built into the fabric and not just a surface coating. Our garments are designed to withstand repeated exposure and washing.This makes them ideal for salon environments where exposure to hair lighteners and colorants is common.
All our fabrics are 100% bleach-proof and suitable for artists performing blonding services across all colour ways in our collections. However, hair colour - especially darker and vibrant tones - is known for its strong bonding properties and may leave stains on lighter or coloured fabrics. If you regularly work with dark dyes or vivid colours, we recommend opting for the black colour way to minimise the risk of visible staining.
Who are your products designed for?
Our bleach-proof range is designed specifically for hairdressers, salon professionals, and beauty industry workers - but anyone working in chemical-exposed environments can benefit from them, as well as anyone who can appreciate a cute outfit!
Are your products unisex?
Yes, most of our clothing and aprons are designed to be unisex and flattering on a variety of body types. Please refer to individual product descriptions for further details on sizing.
How do I choose the right size?
Each product page includes a detailed size guide. We recommend checking measurements before ordering to ensure the best fit.
How can I care for my apron?
To keep your apron in the best condition possible, we recommend wiping it down with a damp cloth and mild soap after each use. For tougher stains a gentle non-abrasive cleanser can be used. These aprons are designed to salon level bleach, but regular light cleaning will help maintain their appearance and performance.
You can safely disinfect your apron with salon-grade disinfectant sprays or alcohol wipes. If you're using a new cleaning product, we suggest doing a small patch test first to avoid any unexpected reactions.
Our aprons are not machine washable and should not be tumble dried or dry cleaned. Instead, clean them by hand only. Avoid soaking the apron in water and never use bleach-based cleaners or abrasive scrubbing tools.
After cleaning, hang the apron to air dry in a cool, shaded area. Keep it away from direct sunlight or heat sources such as dryers, as heat can warp or damage the TPU material, our aprons are only heat resistant up to 80 degrees celsius. Do not wring, iron, or steam the apron.
When not in use, store your apron flat or hang it using the straps on a coat hanger. We recommend avoiding folding or creasing it for extended periods, as this may cause permanent marks or shape loss.
Due to the nature of the TPU fabric, it can become cloudy over time, however this is avoidable with the proper care.
How can I care for my apron straps?
Our apron straps are crafted from durable nylon/polyester blend, detailed with embossed vegan leather and finished with silver hardware. To maintain their appearance and functionality, we recommend spot cleaning the straps as needed using a damp cloth and mild soap. Gently wipe down any areas with visible marks or buildup, taking care not to overly saturate the materials.
Avoid submerging the straps in water or machine washing, as this can compromise the integrity of the vegan leather accents and cause tarnishing of the silver hardware. After cleaning, allow the straps to air dry completely in a cool, shaded area - keep them away from direct heat or sunlight as this can cause fading or warping.
To preserve the look of the vegan leather, do not scrub or use abrasive cleaners. When caring for the hardware, a soft dry cloth can be used to gently polish and clean the silver.
How can I care for my scissor pouches?
To keep your scissor pouch in the best condition possible, we recommend gently wiping them down with a damp cloth and mild soap after use. Both the pouch and belt are made from durable vegan leather with silver hardware, so spot cleaning is best - avoid soaking or machine washing.
It is important to be mindful not to scrub the embossed vegan leather details, as this can cause wear over time. For the shoulder and belt straps, a light wipe will remove product or hair dye residue without compromising the material. If needed, use a soft, dry cloth to polish and clean the silver hardware.
Allow all components to air dry fully in a shaded area - avoid placing them in direct sunlight or near heat sources, as this can warp or fade the materials. When not in use, store your pouch and belt flat or hanging to prevent creases and maintain their shape.
If you work regularly with dark or vibrant hair colours, we recommend choosing darker colour ways to minimise any risk of visible staining, as hair dye can permanently mark lighter fabrics despite the materials being bleach-proof.
Can I amend or cancel my order?

How long will it take to receive my order?
Standard domestic orders usually arrive within 5-7 business days, and express orders within 2-4 business days. International shipping times vary - see our Shipping information HERE for details. Please note that we cannot guarantee there won’t be delays once your order is in the hands of the courier. For any delivery delays or tracking updates after dispatch, please contact Australia Post or DHL directly.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. You can use this to follow your parcel’s progress. If you are having issues finding your tracking number, please email hello@apethelabel.com for assistance.
Can I return an item if it doesn’t fit?
Absolutely! We offer store credit on returns for unworn, undamaged items returned within 31 days of your order date. See our Returns Policy HERE for full details.
Do you offer exchanges?
We don’t offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or style, you are able to return the original item for store credit and place a new order using this store credit.
I have received a faulty item, what should I do?
We’re really sorry to hear this. Product quality is of utmost importance to us. Please contact us on hello@apethelabel.com with details of the issue. Alternatively, you can return the item under our Returns Policy which you can find HERE. Please return in the original packaging and include a brief explanation of the fault.
How should I wash my new bleach-proof clothing?
Cold machine wash with similar colours. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach (you won’t need it!). Hang dry to maintain fabric integrity.
An item I want is sold out. Will it be restocked?
Items that are part of our ‘Core’ collection will continue to be restocked periodically, to keep up with when these restock will happen you can follow us on Instagram and Tik Tok. Alternatively, you can register your email for notification when the item is restocked on the product page. Items that are not part of the ‘Core’ collection are unfortunately one off drops and may not be restocked.
All of our aprons, straps, and scissor pouches in black or clear are regularly stocked and restocked on our site. When it comes to coloured accessories, we like to keep things fresh - so once a colour sells out, it’s unlikely to be restocked. Do you have an option for pre-order?
At this time, we do not offer pre-orders. All products available on our website are in stock and ready to ship. If an item you’re interested in is sold out, we recommend signing up for restock notifications on the product page to be the first to know when it becomes available again.
