Our aprons are made from 100% TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane). TPU is an advanced material which is an environmentally friendly alternative to more commonly used, PVC or Vinyl. TPU is durable, recyclable and biodegradable. The material will also soften slightly when it warms to body temperature. This makes it versatile and comfortable to wear.

We have specifically chosen and designed our aprons with TPU as it is a biodegradable, environmentally friendly material. The product is anti-yellowing, recyclable and non-toxic!

To maintain the integrity and quality of your apron, we recommend you hang your apron after each use. We recommend you clean/polish your apron once a week with Orange Power (or similar). Due to the nature of the TPU material, it does have a tendency to occasionally go cloudy due to oxidation. We recommend replacing your apron every 12 months to avoid this. This is avoidable when appropriate maintenance is upkept and your apron is stored as recommended. Please note : Our aprons are only heat resistant up to 80 degrees Celsius.

* Clear TPU and light coloured vegan leather aprons are not stain proof.

All of our fabrics are 100% bleach proof, for artists performing blonding services we recommend all colour-ways within our collections. For those artists who perform a lot of dark or vibrant colour-work, we recommend you purchase the black colour-way to avoid any potential staining, as hair colour is known for it's remarkable staying power, and due to it's bonding properties, it can leave stains on our coloured fabrics.
